I have worked with individuals, couples and families for over 30 years primarily in the Counselling Program of a Family Service Agency and in my private practice.

In my early years of practice I worked in an elementary school setting, an adolescent drug and alcohol treatment program and an adolescent group home program. I also worked one on one with adolescents for a number of years and as well as volunteered for a number of years with teen related community groups.

I bring all this knowledge and experience to the process of helping you see the bigger picture of what you are caught up in and to support you to find your way to optimal living and optimal relationships!

I completed my Master degree of Social Work at UBC in 1988 having been trained as a Family Therapist specializing in Family Systems Theory.

I am a Registered Social Worker, Approved for Private Practice.

I am a Charter Member of the BC Collaborative Roster Society. I am also a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP). As part of the Collaborative Divorce Vancouver group I have been a member since 2002 and am a former Co-Chair.

I am also a member of the Hear The Child Roster. This is a program that gives children a voice in the divorce process their parents are involved in.

I have been on the Board of Living Systems Society since 1998 and President of the Board since 2002. Living Systems is a not for profit organization that provides counselling, training and education in Bowen Family Systems Theory.

I have also completed the second level training in EMDR.
